Weight support block (B)
The weight support block is useful when checking and adjusting the calibration and linearity of the strain gauge (torque calibration).
It is part of the standard delivery items of the base unit, and it is suitable for DABS of the old generation (until 10-2021) and the new generation (from 11-2021).
Mounting
After the lever has been removed from the motor bearing, the strain gauge can freely be accessed.
Place the weight support block on the strain gauge - center pin into appropriate hole on strain gauge. Place the desired weight on the weight support block - make sure weight is not touching the strain gauge cover or any other surrounding parts or frame inside the device.
